I’m genuinely shocked at how brazen and stupid this Michigan scheme was. The kingpin of the entire operation was buying tickets on his own credit card, forwarding them to people in his name and apparently also making public Venmo transactions with the schools he was sending people to illegally scout in the subject line. How hard is it to write, “Lunch,” on there? Or just make it private!

The cheating is one thing, but most college football programs are trying to skirt the rules in one way or another to gain an advantage. The audacity and sheer stupidity of what Michigan has apparently been doing, however, are so astounding that you have no choice but to enjoy the entertainment value. Stories like this are why there will never be anything like college football.

It even seems like the Wolverines may have had sheets on the sideline with opponents’ signals labeled on them in plain sight. They did not give a single fuck.
