Hey Sean Payton - how many head-to-head wins do the Broncos have vs the Chiefs in the last 16 games? Give you a hint, you won't find it on the playsheet. Try the score ticker.

While the Denver Broncos would end up getting a desperation touchdown, this failed to prevent them from losing their last 16-games to the Kansas City Chiefs. That moves the Broncos into sole possession of active consecutive head-to-head losses to any other team after being tied with the Jets who have lost 15-straight to New England. While unconfirmed, I believe it's a viable theory that the Patriots actually died of bordom after pasting their 15th in a row vs Jets a few weeks ago. Brilliant strategy actually. Chess, not checkers.

Here is your active head-to-head losing streak leaderboard:

While the streak continues for the Broncos, another was ended as the Raiders evidently broke a 35-year drought by beating the Packers on Monday Night Football. While only a total of eight games in a row were lost - that's pretty crazy.

Even crazier is the "NA" you see in the parentheses for the Jets' twelve-game losing streak to the Eagles. That means exactly what you think it means. The New York Jets have never beat the Philadelphia Eagles. Ever. Not once. They've had 12 shots at it and aside from two one-point games, they've been largely beat out of the sky by these birds worse than Sully Sullenberger.

That brings us to Week 6. Eagles at Jets baby! Zach Wilson gets a chance to take down the birds that Joe Namath himself was never able to do while wearing a Jets uniform. This could be a really interesting storyline for potentially several plays of this game.

As for the Broncos - I see no end in sight for their losing streak vs the Chiefs. The all-time record for consecutive losses to a single team is 20 when the Bills got dolphin-smacked by the 70s Shula teams. Looking ahead here the Broncos will be able to wrap up a new all-time record of 21 losses to KC in their second meeting in the 2025 season.

Well. Unless the Broncos meet them at some point in the playoffs…

Second meeting of 2025 it is.

Broncos Country! Let's cry.
