The D-Backs Jump All Over Clayton Kershaw As The Future Hall Of Famer Exits In The 1st Inning After The Shortest Start Of His MLB Career

That was…SOMETHING. The Dodgers trailed 6-0 in this one before taking a swing. Clayton Kershaw musters up the shortest start of his MLB career. It was so ugly…

Straight up batting practice for the snakes. And that's what happens when you've got a 90 mph heater and your signature curveball is hanging all over the plate. You get these results.

In what very well could have been Kershaw's final start at home as a Dodger, it ends sadly continuing the narrative that he is nowhere near the same pitcher in October as he is in the regular season. That's not to say he doesn't have gems mixed in their in the postseason, but there are some really, really bad ones. As Costas' brutally put it, this was the worst one. I kinda believe this one had more to do with him being old and cooked than the postseason jitters. I guess a combo of both you could say. Dude shouldn't a Game 1 starter at this stage in his career, but the Dodgers pitching has been decimated this year. It is what it is.

Should have just let the man watch his college football

No one looks sadder than Kershaw after an October stinker. We've seen this face far too often for how good of a pitcher he is.

I don't think this is it for him. My money is on him pitching one year in Texas for the Rangers. You can't end it like this.

P.S. The Snakes are so much fun to watch. What an exciting mixture of ball players. Carroll, Marte, Walker, Moreno, Longo, the list goes on and on. Oh and they've got one of the best pitchers in the game in Gallen.
