Chandler Jones' Rock Bottom Goes Lower as He Reportedly Set Fire to His Ex's Stuff in Her Backyard While 'Completely Nude'

Welp, I guess it was naive to assume that when Chandler Jones took to X to offer up his theory implicating Josh McDaniels in Aaron Hernandez prison suicide and break down in tears, then get charged with violating a restraining order, that he'd sunk about as low as he could:

And to be fair, that belief was based on the hope that he'd get the mental health treatment he so clearly and desperately needs.

But that rock bottom only gets rockier and bottomer with each passing day and each new revelation. Like this latest one:

Source -  According to multiple reports, the former Raiders star allegedly violated a temporary domestic violence protection order on Sept. 28 after he took items from an unnamed woman’s home and then sent her videos of himself — appearing to be naked — burning the things he took.

The protection order stemmed from a Sept. 12 incident in which Jones, who was “rambling incoherently,” came to her home with a flashlight and without shoes on, The Athletic reported.

The woman, who identified Jones as her ex-boyfriend, told authorities that Jones eventually tried to get into her room, and as she stopped her, he pushed her into a railing, according to the outlet. …

On Sept. 28, Jones started sending the woman, who said she was the mother of Jones’ child, messages on Snapchat starting in the morning and continuing through the day, KNTV reported.

According to the outlet, at 2:31 p.m. that day, the woman said she saw Jones on her home security system come back and then take items from her backyard, including a recycling bin, pool net and dog toys.

After he left, the woman said Jones began sending her videos of himself lighting the stuff on fire.

“[He] was completely nude inside of his own backyard and was burning items that he took from the victim’s backyard,” the police report read, KLAS reported.

Dating relationships can be complicated. That why the call them "romantic entanglements." Ask any cop who's had to answer a domestic call or anyone who's ever seen someone close to them go through a messy breakup, and they'll tell you it's almost never easy to sort out the facts of who-did-what-to-whom.

This is one of the rare exceptions. There is no scenario where one shoves the mother of his child into a railing, strips naked and burns her things and he's in the right. There's no employing the old "Mistakes were made" defense in this one. No one has ever said, "Sure, my man tried to force his way into his ex's room and then took videos of himself torching various household items while buckass naked. But he's a good guy." Cases don't get any more open and shut.

To paraphrase George from Hoosiers,  "There's two kinds of dumb. The guy that gets naked and runs out in the snow and barks at the moon, and the guy who does the same thing in my living room. First one don't matter, the second one you're kinda forced to deal with."

The third, less talked about kind of dumb is the guy who implies his former head coach was involved in murdering a convicted murderer, cries at the moon, gets naked, runs out into his child's mother's yard, and sets fire to her stuff. That one you also very much have to deal with. Again, somebody get this man intensive mental health treatment. And by all means, take your time and do a thorough job.
