Phillies Sweep The Marlins In Dominant Fashion - We're Onto The Historically Amazing, Greatest Team Ever Atlanta Braves

Game, Match, Series. See ya later, Fish. The Fightins have NEVER lost a Wildcard game and advance to the NLDS for the second straight year.

Tonight, two major events occurred.

1) Aaron Nola brought his Cy Young shit into the postseason, thank GOD. 7 innings, 0 runs, and a double play magician. The Phillies are going to need him to stud and shove if they want to win a championship. Couldn't have asked for anything more this evening.

And B) Hittin' Season shook some hands with Red October - Bless you, Uncle Cholly.

2-0 with a dominant win tonight. Good. Exactly what is expected from this excellent squad.

Now bring on the historically great Bravos. I mean they're one of the best teams ever, right? That's an objective fact. They should be ashamed of themselves if they lose to the inferior Phillies for the second straight year in the NLDS. Would certainly be an embarrassment, for sure. Almost as much of an embarrassment as Big T not taking off his hat during the National Anthem when we went to a Braves/Phillies game. A darn shame. Not just for Big T, but for America.

Not too sure what's going on since Big Tasty is in Chicago and I'm still on 60-week maternity leave but hopefully we'll be able to to get something on the books. Always good showing the pure Mr. Knapp a good time in Philly/life.

12 more, Topper. Let's keep Ringing That Damn Bell and make this Red October a Bloody November.
