People Saying That Urban Meyer Will Interview For The Michigan State Job Are Off Their Rocker

Not a fucking chance. I'm talking 0.00%, and it might even less than that. And I'll put my money where my mouth is, too. If Urban Meyer takes the Michigan State job I will RESIGN from my 5-year run at the prestigious Barstool Sports. No one will have to fire me for being wrong.....I'll QUIT!

The first reason I know this report that Urban Meyer will interview for the Michigan State job is bullshit is because Urban Meyer wouldn't have to "interview" at Michigan State. This man could send one text message to his agent and be hired by lunchtime today. In fact, I think there's only 2 schools in the country that Urban couldn't make a phone call to that wouldn't immediately fire their head coach on the prospect that he would even consider taking over their program. Those schools are Georgia and Alabama. And honestly, with Nick Saban being 71 years old, I'm not sure Bama doesn't kick him to the curb if Urban was interested in being his successor. Yes, that's right....Ohio State, Notre Dame, Clemson, USC, AND MICHIGAN would all dump their high profile coach if Urban wanted them to. Colorado would put a pink slip in Deion's locker. That's how good he is.

So again, this is complete bullshit. Because we're not even talking about Texas here. We're talking about Michigan State. Urban has earned the right to walk into a situation full of 4 and 5 star recruits, not a place where he would have to rebuild not only a roster but a culture. And although he would do both very, very well, there's simply no way he's interested in a 10-2 season in his first year.

**And for those of you thinking that I'm being sarcastic with 10-2 in year 1 at a currently horrid program, may I remind you about the amount of losses he had at Ohio State in his first year: ZERO. With Luke Fickell's players he went 6-7 with!

Which brings me to my next point: Luke Fickell didn't want this job, so why would Urban? It's just ludicrous to think the Urban would rejoin the Big Ten at maybe the 9th best football school. Additional reasons include:

1. THERE'S NO WAY he'd join the Big Ten and get curb stomped by Ohio State

2. Michigan State's culture of wrongdoing is not something he would ever associate with

3. He would risk putting a blemish on his impeccable 7-0 record vs. Michigan

Additionally, Urban simply cannot be associated with Michigan State, when they were the culprit behind creating this photo:

Listen, I do hope Urban Meyer gets back into college coaching at some point. But that's going to happen at USC or Alabama (if not Ohio State again). Not fucking Michigan State….
