CJ Stroud Is Having One Of The Best Starts To A Career For A Quarterback In NFL History

Yeah I know it’s only four games into his career but I don‘t care, CJ Stroud is off to a historical start for rookie QBs. 

1,212 yards 6 TDs 0 INT and completing 62% of his passes is a hell of a four game start and against some solid competition as well. Maybe even most important the Texans are 2-2 when they had 3 wins all of last season. He looks so comfortable and poised in the pocket, is making great decisions and some awesome throws. When he has a clean pocket he’s a top 3 QB in the league. That’s not my opinion that’s a fact backed up by real stats. 

Not to mention Stroud has been playing behind an offensive line that’s missing their best player (Tunsil) and most of their projected starting unit. 1,212 passing yards is the second most ever by by a player in their first four games in NFL history. He’s also the second QB in NFL history with no interceptions in each of his first four starts with a minimum 30 pass attempts in each start. 

CJ Stroud currently has the most passing attempts in the NFL this season with an INT and is

-3rd in YPA

-4th in passing yards

-9th in QBR 

Women lie, men lie but numbers don’t. The kid is BALLIN. Also don‘t just look at the stats. Watch the games. Watch the tape. He looks so calm, so poised, and throws an accurate football consistently. Not only is he a great player, but a great leader and he truly gives a fuck about the Texans and their fan base. The Texans got a good one. Can’t wait to see how far he can take this one. All that “Ohio State doesn’t produce good QBs” narrative is DEAD. It already was a dumbass, lazy take to begin with. No schools consistently produce good NFL QBs. Ohio State didn’t even remotely run a pro style offense until a few years ago. Late round picks aren’t busts. You just don’t know ball, sorry lil bro. CJ Stroud is HIM. Go Texans.
