Reality TV Star Savannah Chrisley is Dating The Ex-Auburn Football Player Who's Wife Tried to Murder Him

I'm a little bit out of my league blogging this, because I admittedly don't know much about either parties in this story. But I read this article, and it's such a bizarre coincidence that I thought it was worth diving into.
Savannah Chrisley is the daughter of Todd & Julie Chrisley of the reality TV show Chrisley Knows Best. Huge deal, I know. The Chrisley's have been in the news ever since parents Todd & Julie were thrown in prison for tax evasion. The Chrisley's describe themselves as "self-made millionaires". In the show, Todd "made his money" through real estate. Obviously that all went to shit when they started fucking around (or not fucking around) with the IRS. Todd has just begun his 12 year sentence at a prison in Florida, while Julie is serving 7 years.
Savannah Chrisley is their 26 year old daughter.
And if you don't know Savannah through Chrisley Knows Best, then you might recognizing her from her career as an actress. Have you ever heard of a little movie called, Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens.
So again, she's a very big deal. That's story #1. Story #2 is a little juicier than tax evasion.
Robert Shiver played football for the University of Auburn. He was a solid player. Started out as a walk on, inevitably earned himself a scholarship, and was named captain his senior season. He had a cup of coffee with the Atlanta Falcons in 2009 as well.
You might have seen Robert Shiver's name in the news earlier this year. Not for anything football related. Shiver was in the news, because it was uncovered that his wife Lindsay, and ex-Auburn cheerleader who met Robert in college in 2007 was plotting to murder him. Jack Mac breaks it down in the TikTok below, but basically Robert caught Linday cheating, he filed for divorce, and for some reason Lindsay's response to that was to hire a man to kill him. The cops uncovered plot on WhatsApp during a completely unrelated investigation. Lindsay, the man who was having an affair with, and the hitman she hired are all in prison.

It's since come up that Robert Shiver and Savannah Chrisley have been dating ever since Robert was almost murdered. I mean, that's a pretty weird combination right? It's a bizarre coincidence at minimum. A reality TV "star" & "actress" who's parents fucked over the entire family by not paying their taxes, and an ex-Auburn football player who's wife tried to murder him after SHE cheated on him. How the hell did these people meet? Is it one of those things where two people who've experienced trauma found one another. Like they bonded over their messy lives where the people closest to them nearly ruined their lives?
My theory is that they're angling for their own reality show. There's gotta be something there right? A girl who is already semi-famous, who's parents are in prison, and a man who's wife is in prison for plotting to murder him. That could be a fun show. They could go visit the Chrisley's in prison. They could maybe ever visit Robert's murderous ex-wife in prison. We could watch Savannah try out for Sharknado 8 (she apparently didn't make the cut for 5, 6, or 7). Other wacky hijinks. We've certainly seen reality TV shows made from less.
