The Jaguars Shitting The Bed This Season Is Just Flat Out Mean
Joe Marino. Shutterstock Images.The Jacksonville Jaguars came into this season with some high, high hopes. In fact, I dont think I've EVER been as pumped for a season as I was for this one. And with good reason. The Jags have made the playoffs just twice during this decade, in the 2017 season and last year making it to the Divisional Round.
The Jaguars were finally settled at head coach with Dougie P after we went through head coaches like Gus Bradley, Mike Bunch of Mularkey, Doug Marrone, and a few interims thrown in there as well. For a long, long, we have been one of the NFL's poverty franchises.
The Jaguars have had top ten selections out the fuckin ass. Pick after pick. Bortles, Leonard Fournette, Blaine Gabbert, Luke Joeckel, Dante Fowler, Taven Bryan, all stunk in Jacksonville.
This year was supposed to be different. This year was supposed to be the year that the Jaguars took a big step but instead we have taken a big ole shit. Last week it was Trevor Lawrence that had an awful game. This week was Calvin Ridley.
Calvin Ridley went into the year with an insane amount hype. Every highlight I saw of him this offseason was amazing. He was catching EVERYTHING within arm's reach and sometimes when it wasnt.
Not yesterday. Yesterday he dropped a touchdown on the first drive and a drive extender deep into the red zone on third and 10.
There were exactly one million poor plays by everyone yesterday. I mean, even a fucking fullback returned a long kickoff for six.

The Texans were a write-in win at home but they got smashed. Smashed. There wasnt a moment after the drop Ridley pass on the first possession that I thought they were gonna win the game which caused it to feel like every other year.
This year was supposed to be different but the first 3 weeks have sucked, even the win over the Colts wasnt satisfying.

The good news is that we go to London for the Falcons and the Bills. If they come back 1-4, I'm gonna lose it. LOSE IT.
