Fantasy Football Wins Above Replacement Week 2 Results

Alright there it is. The official list of the best fantsay football players in PPR after two weeks under the more common 12-team league settings. If this is your first time here and want to actually reverse engineer how this is all created you can read more about it here.

Let's fire off some takes!

How long will the Cowboys stay #1?

Defenses are usually at the whim of the teams they play so seeing as they've had cupcake matches against both New York teams it's a bit early to annoint the Cowboys as the 2019 Patriots or 2015 Broncos just yet.

Christian McCaffrey is the dream

Hand up I liked Austin Ekeler a smidge more than CMC this year figuring Elijah Mitchell would give CMC a few more breathers. But McCaffrey is in straight up LaDanian Tomlinson mode with no sign of slowing down on a team tailor made for him to thrive in. After watching the suckfest Panthers vs Saints Monday Night Football game I coldn't help but remind myself that even on that dogshit team, CMC thrived. Stay healthy my man. That's the only way he doesn't end up a top player this year.

Sean McVay better be winning his league

Kyren Williams is #3 overall. He was an ADP 514. That's the 10th pick of Round 43 for the absolute sickest of sicko fantsay drafts. Then you have Puka Nacua #8 overall. He was ADP 392. I don't think there's any other explanation for what's going in LA than Sean McVay making things happen with his real football team explicitly for his fake football team. And goes without saying that Brett Maher is his kicker.

B. Robinson suprisingly one spot ahead of B. Robinson

If you troll nominated B. Robinson of the Brian variety in your auction draft thinking everyone would assume it's Bijon just to get some idiot to bite well I guess the joke is on you. Both are doing solid but Brian seems to be finding playing in the NFL a lot easier when not recovering from a bullet to the tush.

Quarterbacks are dead. For now.

It's only two weeks so I'm not waiving the white flag yet but my take that you should draft a top QB is looking pretty sad when Kirk Cousins is the #1 QB in the game.

Lots of ball still to play as things fall into place over the next few weeks. Here's a quick look at the same thing only in order of ADP instead of results. Missing spaces mean whoever that player was hasn't played a game yet. (Ex Cooper Kupp was ADP 5). I should probably fix that at some point.

Tough start for the two top-rated tight ends. Overall top rated running backs are doing stellar and if Austin Ekeler is able to come back in the next couple weeks he should pop right back up towards the top.
