Rebuilding Fucking Sucks And I Hate It
SUB TO BARSTOOL CHICAGO ON YOUTUBE
Today's Midshow was predictably somber, but after it ended I saw this tweet pop up from my good friend Beefloaf and was immediately angered:
Now, everyone in Chicago is pissed off at the Bears right now and rightfully so. I'm nowhere near at the point where I think Poles and/or Eberflus should be out the door thanks to the Bears holding Carolina's pick next year and they can attempt to right the Justin Fields wrong for free in a way, but goddamn it am I sick and tired of rebuilding.
I was watching soccer at the office today and they have the relegation system. I couldn't name 5 Premier League teams if you paid me $1,000,000 to do so, that's how little I pay attention let alone care about that sport, but I wish we had something like that here. Want to incentivize winning? Strip teams like the Bears and White Sox of their ability to earn millions upon millions at the highest league if they perpetually SUCK ASS like the Bears and White Sox perpetually do.
Legit ship em off to the CCIW or some shit. Fuck'm.
Okay...rant over. No that'll never happen and no I don't think it should. I am just a pissed off fan and cannot stand these two people ruining something that should bring us joy more often than not:

Taking money out of greedy owners pockets will shape those assholes up real quick though, in all honesty, and they won't be able to sell us on these bullshit "rebuilds" anymore. They'll be forced to win and win as much as possible or risk losing the only thing they care about, money.
Goddamnit I hate rebuilds and the thought of the Bears and Sox starting another one next year makes me want to just move to rural Montana and away from the internet and sports for good because rebuilding fucking BLOWS.
It grosses me the fuck out that all 4 major sports have built in incentives to lose games. Think about that! Sometimes it's better to lose than to win in PROFESSIONAL sports. It ain't right, it grosses me the fuck out and I'm tired of it and I feel dirty that I ever wanted them, let alone believed in any of them.
Rant over. Listen to today's Midshow
