Leave It Up To Dan Campbell To Call A Fake Punt On The Second Drive Of The Season

Ole big balls Campbell is back in full force. This is so awesome.The  Lions could not get anything going the first to drive to the game. Dan Campbell draws up a fake punt deep in his team's territory, and it works for a first down. One thing I really like about Dan Campbell is that while he has the ability to roll the dice, I don't feel like he's reckless with his decision making. Of course, it will be a risk when you fake a punt on the end of the field, but it wasn't 4th and 10. If it didn't work, it didn't work. The Lions needed a spark, and that's what they got. It's not the first time Campbell has pulled a rabbit out of his hat.

This was made all the more impressive by the fact that Detroit wouldn't want to score on this drive. Even with Travis Kelce out, the Lions come into this game as underdogs. You've got to land body blow early if you want to take that crowd out of the game. That's exactly what the Lions have done. 

God, I want this one. This could be such a cool night for Detroit fans. The Tigers are shitting on the New York Yankees. Spencer Torkelson has two home runs, and Dan Campbell just faked a punt to help the Lions score their first touchdown of the season against the defending champions.
