Tom Hardy Is The Leader Of A Biker Gang In The First Trailer For 'The Bikeriders'

Kathy, a strong-willed member of the Vandals who's married to a wild, reckless bikerider named Benny, recounts the Vandals' evolution over the course of a decade, beginning as a local club of outsiders united by good times, rumbling bikes, and respect for their strong, steady leader Johnny. Over the years, Kathy tries her best to navigate her husband's untamed nature and his allegiance to Johnny, with whom she feels she must compete for Benny's attention. As life in the Vandals gets more dangerous, and the club threatens to become a more sinister gang, Kathy, Benny and Johnny are forced to make choices about their loyalty to the club and to each other.

I'm in. ALL in. We got four dudes here that are really good 60s actors in Butler(Elvis), Hardy(Legend), Faist(West Side Story) and Holbrook(Indy 5). We Got Jodie Comer coming off some incredible performances in 'Killing Eve' and 'The Last Duel'. And we have director Jeff Nichols who has made some really solid, under-rated movies in 'Mud' and 'Midnight Special'. That's 3 great components for a movie that focus on a facet of American culture (bikers) that is not really represented much in film. And if the enjoyment a lot of us found in 'Sons of Anarchy' is any indicator, then this should rock.

One of the funnier things that popped off in this trailer immediately is Tom Hardy's accent. This dude must have some sort of contract clause in every role he takes that requires he be able to throw on some weird accent that he will have some elaborate story for after the movie is released. Speaking of, we didn't get a ton of Butler talking in this trailer which makes me afraid we are going to have some leftover Elvis. Damn, now I gotta rewatch Sons. FUCK YOU, CLAY MORROW!
