NHL Team:  Chicago Blackhawks

Conference: Western

Division: Central

2022-23 Recap: Complete dumpster fire for good reason and as the season shook out the plan worked they landed the White Whale. The team played a very fan-friendly style with a lot of goals for and against. The downside of tanking is they had to let go of the long-time Hawk who helped raise all the banners.  But it is time to move on…

Biggest Loss: Patrick Kane - The greatest American player of all time no longer on the roster after 16 seasons will hurt for a long time. But every fan can go online watch the highlights and say that's our guy.

Biggest Addition: Connor Bedard - Ever heard of him? If you haven’t make sure to follow @barstoolchief, the Hawks super fan who is ready to name his firstborn child Conor if he delivers on all the expectations.

2023-24 Outlook: The team spent the offseason trying to put pieces in place to support Bedard and they did a pretty good job. They do not have the depth to make waves in this division but this team will upset teams.  Plus with a large part of Barstool in Chicago now the team will get a serious bump.

Player To Watch: Lukas Reichel - Hawks 1st round pick in 2020 got called up for 23 games last season and recorded 7 goals and 8 assists. The former Berlin Polar Bear should be penciled in on 2nd line left wing this season.

2023-2024 Season Bet: After this interview I have to take Bedard to win the Calder -135
