Jumping Out Of a 5th Floor Window For Instagram Is Crazy...But Kinda Cool Too?
As insane as this video is…it's also kinda cool too. I can't lie, I feel like I see crazy shit all day every day on the world wide web and not think twice about it. Not much shocks me anymore. Not much makes me shake like a leaf, raise my blood pressure, or gives me the heebie jeebies. So when I saw this video I was like "ah ok makes sense, just nother wild and crazy dude doing wild and crazy dude things for IG". And then I read the comments and realized not everyone is as desensitized as I am.
I might be wrong, but I feel bro probably measured the jump to make sure it was possible? Like, this is his full time job after all. He's not just launching himself out of the 5th floor window without at least some sort of due diligence. He didn't wake up one day and decide to throw all caution to the wind, otherwise he would have been dead a long time ago, for example:
That one is way scarier to me than the 5th floor window jump.
I will say though, as crazy it is he is doing these stunts for IG, he probably would be doing them even if IG didn't exist, so at least he's making a few bucks from it.
I still think the most ridiculous video is when Alex Honnold took a climber on his first ever Free Solo and cracked jokes the entire time while the other climber was petrified out of his mind. Some people are just built different, man. I'll just keep blogging from the comfort of my bed, thank you very much.
