Free Her! US Open Beer Chugging Rocket Megan Lucky Says She's Being Suppressed At This Year's Tournament And Is Being Denied The Chance To Chug

SOURCE: U.S. Open beer girl Megan Lucky was back at the famed tennis tournament in Queens, but apparently wasn’t given the screen time that she had been in years past.

Lucky claimed in an Instagram post on Sunday that “whoever was in charge didn’t want me on the jumbotron this year.”

Lucky has gained internet fame the past two years for her beer-chugging skills that went viral during the 2021 and 2022 U.S. Open tournaments.

The 27-year-old New Jersey native attended the Open on Friday, according to her social media.

However, she never made it onto the video board this time around.

“I don’t know their reasons, they didn’t share them with me, but I still had a lot of fun and I’m at peace with it,” Lucky said in the video.

Is nothing sacred anymore?! Free our beer chugging queen. Hubbs wrote a good blog about her before the tournament:

And I think it's time we take a stand. Hubbs and I are two of two tennis fans at Barstool SPORTS (sad, I know) and we want to grow the game by any means necessary. If that means putting Megan on the screen and having it get 6 MILLION likes and 50 million views on Instagram, then be our guest.

Don't believe me? What if I told you that there's simps big enough in the comments of that video explaining what happened saying "WE WERE ONLY WATCHING FOR YOU!" And they say marketing doesn't work. Just look at the power of our beer chugging queen:

You hear that? Witnessing history. That's what miss Lucky is all about. So while we shouldn't protest the tournament because it's been amazing and there's 3 Americans in the quarterfinals for the first time in a zillion years, maybe we can make some amends to our queen-in-hops. It's only right.
