Connor Bedard Is Putting On An Absolute Show At The BioSteel Camp With All The Best Players In The NHL

My policy for blogging Bedard this year is that every time he sends a little shiver up my leg or takes my breath away I am going to blog it. We might get 300 Bedard blogs this year. That's just the way it is. When you have a superstar in your town you lean into it. 

I was casually strolling through IG this morning and I saw this clip and it was perfect. The music. The edgework. The slow motion camera. It had more of a short program feel in the Olympics than a hockey highlight. My blood is pumping, my hair stood up, my heart is so full. I can't wait to watch this kid. We are officially 40 days away from our beautiful boy wearing the league's best jersey.

It's a small clip, but this is exactly why I am fired up for the season. This is the shit he can do as good or better than anyone. That lateral movement and the ability to change direction to create space is unmatched. He moves side to side like a foosball player and then when he gets that sliver of space the puck is off of his stick in the blink of an eye. There's nobody like him. We are blessed beyond belief to have him in Chicago.

I think the Blackhawks are going to lose a lot of games 5-3 this year and I am perfectly fine with that. Highlights and fights from guys like Perry and Foligno. Sign me up for 82 games of that.
