More dog owners are concerned over vaccinating their pooches in the wake of Covid, a survey suggests. Boston University researchers who questioned 2,200 people found half raised concerns over whether mandating shots for diseases like rabies was necessary.Nearly 40 percent said they feared vaccines could give their dogs autism, despite there been no scientific evidence that this was a risk.A third said they were not medically necessary, while a fifth suggested the risks from the vaccinations 'outweighed the benefits'.Vaccine skepticism is on the rise following Covid mandates, with fewer parents coming forward to get their children shots against dangerous diseases like measles. Experts say this could bring back once nearly eradicated illnesses.

People are aggressively stupid. Just objectively aggressively stupid. I don't know how we've gotten here but here we are. Imagine the type of shit you need to read in order to believe that giving your dogs vaccines could lead to them having doggy autism. Just insane. Insane.

Sometimes I'm not even sure what to say because the world we are living in is filled with the biggest dummies alive who all think that they are so smart. Even in people, if you believe that vaccines are causing autism, you are ignoring every single piece of legit scientific research over the last three decades. But, to take that doubt to dogs, is wild. I didnt expect it but I should have tbh. I really should have.

But, in some cases, you can shockingly kinda see the scientific method at work through these folks who can barely think for themselves. One of the main tenets of science is to question everything. Questioning scientific understanding is crucial to scientific progress even if it triggers one side of the political aisle or the other. All good scientists are skeptical about everything related to science, especially when it involves their own specialty area of science. Being skeptical is not the same as rejecting and that's what folks are doing or just making shit up to get a little clout on tiktok.

Morons are reading one blurb, one opinion, one tweet, and the next thing ya know, it's their identity in a big way. They dont just believe that vaccines for dogs cause autism in dogs. They make dog autism and the vaccines that cause it their personal cause and surround themselves only with dog vaccine-autism patriots who are fighting big veterinarian. They scream about dog autism from the rooftops while also doing no further research unless it's supposed to prove their point.

Now, with that being said, if Gussy Boy From Heaven Above and Baby Dale WooHoo get autism from their distemper vaccine, I'm gonna be furious. If that happens, you'll see me marching and carrying on. I'll make a scene everywhere I go. I dare a vaccine to give Gus and Dale autism. I dare them. I'll storm whatever company makes dog vaccines so fast it'll make your head spin.
