The Browns Have Traded For D-Hop And The Super Bowl Parade Is Officially On!!!

Let's goo!!!! This might not be the same D-Hop that we were rumored to be in the trade market for earlier this off-season, but this D-Hop is going to improve our odds of winning the Super Bowl so much more. Because the fact of the matter is this team's biggest (and perhaps only) weakness, which has been shown time and time again this preseason, is how God awful our kicker has been.

Cade York, our FOURTH ROUND DRAFT PICK last year, finished the preseason going 4 for 9, literally missing a kick in 3 straight games that would've given the Browns a victory. In fact, he missed TWO game winning field goals in the last 90 seconds against the Eagles. And then he followed it up the next week by getting blocked on a game winner! So I don't care that it's the preseason and doesn't matter. If we headed into Week 1 vs. the Bengals with Cade York as our kicker, then our front office is stating loud and clear that they don't care about winning.

Thankfully, it appears we do want to win.

GOOD RIDDANCE!

Wasting a 4th round draft pick on a Kicker that we cut just one year later, and having to use a 7th round draft pick to replace him, will go down as one of the dumbest draft decisions of all time. But no matter how stupid it was, it will ALWAYS be worth it.

You simply cannot put a price tag on what losing to Baker Mayfield and the Panthers in Week 1 would've meant. So despite being fucking terrible in every other game you played, #ThankYouCadeYork
