Evidence Suggests That Aaron Rodgers is, in Fact, Dating Milwaukee Bucks Heiress Mallory Edens

It can be said that who someone is romantically involved with is no one's business but their own. But there are exceptions. The whole history of the world has been shaped by that very issue. Wars have been fought over them. Kings of one country being princesses of another have shaped the global map. Which nobles queens have bedded have sealed the fate of millions, if not tens of millions. Romantic entanglements have brought down ancient empires and mired US Presidents in disgrace and scandal. The Red Wedding in Games of Thrones was, after all, based on real events. 

And in the modern world in which we find ourselves, no figurehead is more important when it comes to the course of human events than the NFL quarterback. So who they date matters. They are central figures. Men in a position of great power and authority. And from whom much is given, much is expected. Therefore whom they spend their nights with affects us all. So when a first ballot Hall of Famer may or may not be involved with someone, that's the business of all of us. As Hubbs pointed out mere days into 2023:

Sure, the idea of Aaron Rodgers dating the daughter of the Bucks owner might have seemed quaint back in January. A mere fling to make those long Wisconsin winter nights fly by. The sports celebrity equivalent of that hook up you had with the girl pulling shifts at Cinnabon when you were working your after school gig at the Footlocker next door. And you knew that mall romance would be over once you left that job to go bus tables at the Olive Garden up the road because it offered tips and unlimited bread sticks. 

Except Rodgers left his job to go way, way up the Interstate 90, all the way to New York. And yet his Midwest crush seems to be following him.

NY Post in April - [Rodgers] had moved on from actress and ex-fiancée Shailene Woodley, whom he dated up until February 2022, when the pair called off their engagement. 

He is now rumored to be seeing Edens, the 26-year-old Instagram model and daughter of … Wes Edens [who] is one of the primary owners of the Milwaukee Bucks — who Rodgers has a small ownership stake in — and has a net worth of approximately $4 billion. …

Edens’ fame skyrocketed in 2014 when she appeared on stage to represent the Bucks during the NBA draft lottery.

Now it seems like we can confirm that the relationship has survived the sorts of turmoil that have caused more breakups than infidelity. A change of employers. A work-related move. And the one thing practically no romance can endure: The New York Jets. 

And yet, these two crazy, star-crossed lovers seem to be together through it all:

I mean, it doesn't get any easier to make a case than this, am I right? Say what you will about circumstantial evidence. But go ahead and try to make a case that a 26 year old NBA heiress and model would drop everything on a night in August to go watch a pretend football game a thousand miles away in New Jersey it if was for something other than true love. Are we supposed to believe this is someone who's super invested in how the backups to the Jets backups in the secondary are working out so she can finalize her 53-man roster projections?

Yeah. I'm going to suggest we stick with the Occam's Razor hypothesis. And the simplest explanation here is that a 26 year old billionairess would only travel that far to watch the worst game of the preseason of one of the worst franchises in the history of pro sports because she's interested in one player in particular. 

And if I'm a Jets fan (and every day I drop to my knees and say a prayer of thanksgiving that I am not), I'm not thrilled that my team's test savior is getting this level of attention from a model 13 years longer and with the looks, connections and money to make all his non-football wishes come true.
