The Summer Of Jokic Is Still Going So Strong In Serbia You Almost Wonder If He Might Decide To Never Come Back

The Summer Of Jokic has certainly been well documented. The guy is having perhaps one of the greatest runs we've ever seen since the calendar turned to April. He dominated the playoffs heading into the Finals, got even better on the world's biggest stage to help the Nuggets win their first ever title, and he's been partying his face off ever since. Whether it was Vegas or back in Serbia, nobody has been enjoying life more than Nikola Jokic

Every few days we seen to get another video of Jokic loving his life back in Serbia and each one is better than the last. You almost have to remind yourself this is the current best basketball player on the planet. You know he's not even coming close to thinking about the upcoming season yet. Why should he when there's more partying to be had?

Enter today's update

That man may think he's in Serbia, but I'm pretty sure he's actually on a completely different planet. We're quickly approaching a situation where it might be time to start wondering if Jokic ever comes back. I mean, he's got his ring, he's already a Nuggets legend, maybe he just says screw it and keeps the good times rolling. It would be a very Jokic-like thing if he pulled a Barry Sanders and just left the game while still in his prime. Nobody treats playing in the NBA like it's just a job they need to pay the bills quite like Jokic, so I'm not completely ruling it out. It may be 0.0000001%…but it's not nothing.

Then you remember that he's still able to be a dominant force even after spending an entire summer partying and watching his horses, so maybe this is all just part of his offseason training. The last time we saw something like this from Jokic he then went on to do this on the court

so here's to hoping he decides to join everyone else back in the States for the start of camp in early October. But until then, I fully expect to see many more videos of Jokic doing Jokic things while loving life back at home.
