"Why Are You Being A Bitch Again?": Don't You Dare Question This PLL Ref's Calls Ever Again
All across America there is a shortage of refs throughout sports. It doesn't matter which sport we're talking about, the number of refs are down. That's because they have to deal with players, coaches, and parents all giving them shit after every single call they make. Imagine reffing a summer tournament for like $75 per day and you have to deal with little Johnny's alcoholic dad cursing you out all afternoon. It makes sense why nobody feels like putting up with it.
But then we have head PLL official Matty Palumb. The man is a legend, and he has the #1 defense to dealing with the onslaught of shit that refs have to deal with on a daily basis--just give it right back to them.
If a coach, player, or parent wants to get on you for a bad call? Get right back on them. "Why are you being a bitch again? You're being a bitch again". That'll end the conversation real fast. Get everybody to shut up, put them in their place, and roll the ball out for the next play. No need to call the game or anything drastic like that. Just emasculate whoever feels the need to yell at you over a call, and everybody can move on. It's genius, Lloyd. Sheer genius.

Matty Palumb gets it. The man runs a masterclass out there at keeping everybody in line. We need way more of him out there.
Sidenote: Complete and total insanity to end that Waterdogs vs Archers game. Dawgs down by 2 with under a minute to play, and Jack Hannah sticks this high bouncer from beyond the arch to tie the game up with just under 30 seconds to go.
You figured we'd be settling in for a nice little overtime showdown in the first game of the weekend, but NOT SO FAST MY FRIEND.
