That right there is exactly why we need an Anthony Edwards playing for Team USA. I say asshole as a compliment. The dude has said he wanted to play for the red, white and blue because of everything he saw in highlights and grew up watching. It's no secret we haven't sent our best players since 2012, you could maybe convince me 2016. Ant is one of the best players we have, especially when you consider his age and the fact he could be on Team USA for a long ass time.

Come on! Embrace the quote. Be the guy on this team. Be the dude who wants to start because he's right. We don't have a Kobe on this roster. Hell, I don't even know who the best player is - Brunson, Edwards, Bridges? I love those guys, but they ain't Kobe. This isn't the Redeem Team. 

I wish we sent our best players so Edwards coming off the bench made sense. I want our Olympic team next year to look like the Redeem Team. I'm sick of the argument that we can't blow out everyone:
