Now It's Serious: James Harden Unfollowed Daryl Morey On Social Media

If you had any ounce of hope(?) that James Harden and Daryl Morey could repair their relationship before the start of the season, that hope just flew out the window and got it's dick crushed by an 18-wheeler with this Earth shattering news that came across the wire earlier this morning.

There are certain moments throughout the course of human history that are so pivotal that you remember exactly where you were when they happened. Many times, unfortunately, those events happen to be tragedies. This situation is no different. You'll never forget where you were at the moment you learned that James Harden stopped following Daryl Morey on Twitter.

How are you supposed to explain this to your kids? Repetitively calling him a liar is one thing. But to unfollow the man on Twitter? That's just downright sinister. You could have just muted the guy. But hitting him with the unfollow? That's something that will rattle you to your core.

Quick sidenote here: Who the fuck are the people who go around searching for this stuff? It seems like any time there's a professional athlete who is unhappy with their current situation, there are scores of people who are constantly searching to see if they still follow the team on social media. It's every single time, and I just can't imagine the life of someone who wakes up every morning to sift through an athletes 'following' list to see if their team is still on there.

Quick sidenote #2: Best case scenario at this point is that the Sixers just refuse to trade Harden and we can keep this circus going for another few months. At least at that point it'll be funny. This team isn't doing shit with or without him this year, so I'd rather get the entertainment out of it.
