It Has Come To My Attention That The Majority Of People Disagree With Me About Virtually Everything

"Self-awareness is key", they say. It's something I thought I had. Sure, there have been many times in my life where I disagreed with the group around me. Friends, teammates, family, co-workers, etc. In all of those disagreements I was sure that they were wrong and that the majority of people probably agreed with me, but there was no way to have a large enough sample size to poll.
I am now in my 5th year of full-time employment at Dave Portnoy Inc. One of the best and worst things about having an internet job is the constant and abundant feedback on my opinions. After 5 years...I am ready to break. I am willing to concede. It turns out that the vast majority of my opinions may not be "popular". Monday August 22nd, 2023...I think my TV is fine
And I like my chocolate chip cookies to be on the crispier side

Now, having said that…being unpopular doesn't mean that I am wrong. Taste isn't a democracy. I say what I think, not what I think will be popular. I'd be killed in many countries with that philosophy. I'd be killed in this country if Red Ed had his way.
