Skateboard Bro Pulls Off A Trick That Wouldn't Even Be Possible In THPS

What the...what the fuck is this!?!

That's just not how skateboarding works at all!

Since I was like, 8 years old I have always been incredibly captivated by X-Games sports. When I was 12 I got a BMX bike (yeah, with the pegs, no big deal) and thought for sure I was going to be the next Dave Mirra (RIP).

Then I became obsessed with Motocross thanks to Travis Pastrana. I watched it nonstop. Back in the days where guys weren't doing backflips too (there was that few year span where every "best trick" was a backflip and it got kinda boring but I digress). Folks like Mike Metzger, Carey Hart, Jeremy Lund and the Metal Mulisha, I loved it all. Man I hope this shit resinates with people out there, those were the good old days. Watching ESPN2 on a 13 inch TV watching these dudes go nuts on their bikes, there was nothing like it.

And even still to this day when someone does a trick we've never seen before, I get hyped. We just had one in July when this BMX bro blew our minds

It's pretty cool that although this stuff isn't as mainstream as it once was, it's still evolving and still awesome. Now if you'd excuse me, I have hours of Pastrana videos to watch.

PS: I can't believe the double backflip was 2006. I didn't sleep that night when I saw it. Couldn't believe my eyes.
