Zach Wilson Is Having A Ceiling Raising Preseason

This preseason Zach Wilson has gone 26/28 for 258 in 3 games with 0 interceptions. With Aaron Rodgers getting his first start against the Giants this weekend, we are getting to the end of Wilson's body of work. With all that said, he has played some amazing football. 

Everyone clowned me when I said Zach Wilson has a Patrick Mahomes ceiling but Rodgers makes this statement almost confirms that in his expertise he is validating me. 

I mean check out this play he made against the Buccaneers. These are the big plays that special players make. 

I mean think when Patrick Mahomes first hit the league and was making plays like this:

While Mahomes is also progressing in making plays like this. 

I mean you cannot deny he has made progress since his first season when he looked absolutely terrible. Totally understand this is preseason and cannot be judged but if anything Hard Knocks has been the greatest thing for Zach Wilson. Shows everyone that he is humble and willing to learn not the "I don't have to apologize to my defense" the media portrayed him to be.

He's got Rodgers' stamp of approval and you can tell they fuck with each other. 

I think its time we see that mentally Wilson has turned a corner. I mean I think this clips sums up just how exactly he has turned the mental corner on things. 

Remembering football is fun will take you a long way. Will Zach make me eat my blog in the last preseason game? There is a chance. But if Rodgers goes down for a set a downs, I actually have restored faith Zach may take them out of a tough spot.
