Frank The Tank Made A MAGNIFICENT Appearance On Barstool Baseball This Week

Pretty easy blog here.

Frank came on with Klemmer and me to talk about a couple things. Obviously the 2023 Mets are a big part but a couple surprises for most:

1. Frank is extremely thought out in his criticisms and they're very deep. It's a serious side people should see more frequently.

2. He knows so much. Like so fuckin much. And it's all so precise. "He won in 55 after they sent him down to the minors." I mean the shit just comes out of his mouth so fluidly. His Mets knowledge is unrivaled with respect to anyone I know, about anything. And no bullshit one of my good buddies is a trauma brain surgeon at Christ Hospital. I'm taking Frank in Met's history over him on brains every day of the week.

3. My buddy's probably a little pissed I just said that. He has spent so much time learning about brains. Like basically our entire adult lives in such rigorous circumstances. I'm still taking Frank. Sorry Mike.

4. Klemmer and Frank really want to get Joan Payson into the Hall of Fame and I to help. We all should. The passion and intensity in his demeanor when we talked Joan Payson was unmatched in the conversation. And it's a conversation that includes: firing Buck Showalter, Max Scherzer's negativity, blow-torching the front office, getting dominated by Blooper. And yet the most intense Frank got all show was when we talked about Cooperstown. JOAN PAYSON NEEDS TO BE IN THE HALL OF FAME.

5. Frank is making the introduction at Cooperstown when this eventually happens

6. Finally, we build a team of his 9 favorite players that never played for the Mets. Although there's an exception: NOBODY gets the 1st base nod over Keith Hernandez. Nobody. So we got Keith at 1st base regardless of the rules. Frank was allowed one exception and it went to Keith Hernandez, which was a nice moment.

The rest of the lineup can be found in the show. Spoiler Alert: couple Yankees make the list in a surprisingly candid part of the conversation.

Frank will definitely be back on the show as we keep mixing in different people and teams. Follow along here or don't. Just know Frank was outstanding:

PS - just a quick shout out to Klemmer. I couldn't and can't say enough good things about his baseball brain and how much better he makes everything. I mean it. Great baseball guy. People should say that more about him so I'll start here.
