One-time mound phenom Harvey — who got a ban after admitting to taking cocaine and pain pills during his days in Flushing — has reinvented himself as a real-estate exec, and landed a gig with property giant Newmark.

Harvey spent a huge part of his career partying and even famously got a three day suspension after missing a game entirely because of being out until 4 AM the night before. This appears to no longer be the case now that he is in the thrilling world of multifamily debt origination.

“He’s in the office early, working all day” and often out with clients at night, Orso said.
"Sorry babe. I can't make it to the club with you tonight. I have to talk restructuring with these clients over dinner. Wish me luck!"
I don't blame Monika at all. You're only young once and other than Mike Tyson, there aren't too many other athletes I'd expect to become a buttoned up real estate guy less than Matt Harvey.
I guess the good news is if you're someone in New York City with no professional ambition, likes to party and finds real estate boring as fuck, this woman is newly single.
