The Jets And Broncos Can't Stop Making Fun Of Each Other, Hope It Continues Because It's Clearly The Highlight Of Their Seasons

So over the weekend's preseason game, Garrett Wilson showed up on the sidelines like this:

Seems innocent. Seems like nothing. That is until you realize he did it because Sean Payton said this:

Yeah pretty direct here. You know what? Good. Keep this bizarre rivalry going because both teams aren't good. I'm taking a stand on the Jets. They are going to fail to meet expectations, so make week 5 the most interesting week of the season. I've seen this story too many times to blindly think the Jets are going to be good. Everyone talking about how scary their offense is seems to forget the line sucks. Defense is good, fine. But that ain't gonna get you to 11-6 or something like that.

Then there's Denver. They stink. I don't have much else to say about them, we've seen what they look like out there. They stink. Only thing they got going for them is the Raiders are in the same division. Hilarious that this hatred all stemmed from Sean Payton speaking the truth, albeit a cheap shot, at Nathaniel Hackett.

Lost in all of this is that we're talking about sports here. We're not talking about anything serious. It's sports. This is what sports is supposed to be. Fun, stupid, shit talking. That's what I want and why I hated that Sean Payton tried to walk back his comments. Nah dude, you said them, own them.

So fuck it, I hope these teams keep being obsessed with each other. We need to bring back hate between teams and I don't care if it's over something as stupid as a bucket hat. Make week 5 interesting.
