James Harden Is Dancing Without A Care In The World Despite Actively Trying To Burn The Sixers To The Ground

Yesterday, it was James Harden making waves by calling Daryl Morey a liar and saying he'll never play for a franchise that employs him. Today, it's Joel Embiid removing "Processing" and Philadelphia, PA from his Twitter profile that has everyone in a frenzy. Personally, I view that mostly as Embiid deciding to troll compared to the alternative which is him also wanting out of Philly.  You could make the case that's a little fucked up given everything going on right now but hey, oh well.

If you were maybe curious how Harden was handling the drama after he essentially threw a Molotov cocktail on the Sixers organization, perhaps showing some sort of remorse or a change of heart, well….

You almost have to respect the lack of fucks given. Does it look like Harden even remotely cares about the shitstorm he caused back at home? Does that look like a man that regrets his decision or maybe had a change of heart? I think that might be the funniest part of this whole thing so far. On one side of the world, the house is burning down. Things are a disaster. On the other side, the man responsible for all this is riding mini bikes and unleashing some unique dance moves without a care in the world. It's as if none of this even happened!

We've seen "I don't give a fuck" James Harden before, but this might actually be the Final Boss version. Daryl Morey came out and basically called his bluff so he said OK let me take it up a notch. Remember, it's not as if Harden has a huge market in the league right now. He's an older player on the decline who is an expiring contract at a high salary number and who appears to not exactly be the best locker room guy. Who is lining up to trade for him?

That's what makes this all so fascinating. He clearly doesn't care about any sort of self-sabotaging that may be going on if it means he gives Morey the finger and burns everything down. If this also somehow leads to Embiid leaving, Harden might become the most hated Philly athlete of all time. There's no chance Morey will be allowed to walk the streets of Philly.

Add in the latest from Woj, and it sounds like we're only at the beginning of this whole ordeal

Only 48 days to go until training camp opens, so there's really only one way to go if you're Harden
