At This Point, It Would Be Best For Everybody To Just Let The Sixers Take The Year Off

I don't get it, man. I just really don't.

How the shit does this organization manage to get it so horrifically wrong all the time? Just one time I would love if this organization could be normal. One time. Give me guys who love to play basketball, get along well with their teammates and coaches, have a general manager who wears normal collars, and doesn't manage to make a billion headlines off the court during the offseason. Is that really so much to ask for?

Apparently it is. Because year after year, this organization finds a way to fuck it up. From Markelle Fultz forgetting how to shoot, to Ben Simmons forcing his way out of town after never learning how to shoot, to burner accounts, to James Harden publicly calling Daryl Morey a liar and saying he'll never be a part of an organization that he's a part of.

It's all just so…exhausting.

That's the best word to describe the Philadelphia 76ers men's professional basketball team. They are exhausting. They are the most difficult team on planet Earth to root for. And at this point it just seems like everybody would benefit from taking a break. It's been like 6 straight years now of being the absolute weirdest franchise. Give the players a break, give management a break, and most importantly let's just give the fans a break. We shouldn't have to put ourselves through this every year. The NBA can go on with just 29 teams this year. They'll be fine. Then we can just keep our focus on the Eagles and Phillies, and maybe remember at some point in the next few years that the Flyers exist. We can reconvene next summer and decide what to do from there.

This goddamn organization, man. What a joke.
