Just go ahead and shut down best surprise appearance at a concert this summer now. Sure, Charlie Day is great and all. But bringing out the Dennis Reynolds sex doll? That's a move that gets the people going. 

Nightman Cometh is one of the best episodes in comedy television. That's just a fact. I mean, yeah, it's my opinion, but it's a fact. Everyone who knows It's Always Sunny mostly knows Nightman Cometh and Day Man. That's why bringing Charlie Day out is just a vet move by Portugal the Man, who apparently has played the song over 100 times at their concerts. I don't know why, but I always like when bands play something bizarre like that out of nowhere. It doesn't make sense, but it's a good change of pace, especially if you're in line to get a drink or whatever and just hear it. 

But back to this specific showing, the sex doll was the star. I still can't get over how outrageous that episode was but it also made all the sense in the world:

The fact that doll is still around is something. I know it's a prop, but we're seasons removed from it being on the show. That tells me it's gotta make an appearance in the show again at some point. That or Wrexham just needs to adopt it and put it behind the guest bench or something. Incredible delivery all the way around here.
