Khalil Rountree Jr Sits Chris Daukaus Down For ANOTHER First Round TKO (Plus The Anthony Joshua KO)

Khalil Rountree Jr just put Chris Daukaus down with a HUGE straight left hand to give this card its SEVENTH first round finish - tying the all time record! We've got two fights left to hopefully break that record, as well! It's always these under-the-radar cards that deliver the wildest results.

DC somehow thought this shot didn't land clean for a second (which was absurd), but it gave us a great "My bad!" line from him afterwards, so all is forgiven....

This is Rountree's fourth win in a row, three of those being TKOs and one being a split decision over Dustin Jacoby, and he called for a five-round main event in his next fight - which I think he's earned at this point. I'm not sure who you match him up with, but I'd love to see him fight up the rankings in his next one. Maybe the loser of Anthony Smith/Ryan Spann? I feel like it's almost crazy Rountree hasn't fought one of those guys by now. We'll see, tho.

P.S. Here's the Anthony Joshua knockout, as promised in this blog's headline....

That's a killshot. I still think Wilder/Fury both SMOKE Joshua if they ever fight, but it's nice seeing Joshua back in top form here. These pictures are so badass….
