Big Cat Opens Up About His Future With Barstool
Obviously there was some very big news with Barstool Sports this week with Dave Portnoy buying back the company from Penn Entertainment. It had been in the works for a few weeks, but was announced on Tuesday afternoon to the entire company. Big Cat was one of the people in the know beforehand and addressed his future with Barstool.
To the people on The Yak and I'm sure Pardon My Take and anyone that's in Big Cat's inner circle, this had been known for a bit, big news this week aside. Big Cat isn't going anywhere anytime soon and that was reassuring enough for a bunch of us to move our entire lives halfway across the country. The truth is, Big Cat is a great boss and leader and without him in the fold there would be a lot of uncertainty, but everyone moving feels in a great spot with him at the helm. As far as the new office and when it'll open, there have been some back and forth, but it looks like we finally have clarity on that as well now.
Friday the 13th! What a day to fully unveil our new digs! As I type this in a house full of boxes and stuff we're still getting rid of, I can say with certainty I'm looking forward to getting out there and settled and I couldn't be happier to be on this ride.
