Johnny Football Walked So Livvy Dunne Could Get a Sick BMW With Her NIL Money
I was watching the Johnny Manziel documentary on Netflix last night and the story that's going viral about Johnny signing autographs for money had me wondering just how many millions he'd rake in today's NIL climate. Manziel's media exposure to A&M was worth 40 million from November 2012 to January 13. A&M brought in $740 million of donations after Johnny's first year. They sold out of $60 #2 A&M jerseys. Is it outrageous to say he could have pocketed like $10 million? Is that too low? Too high?
Then, this morning I see that our queen Livvy Dunne and the undisputed GOAT of NIL just copped what looks to be a fairly expensive BMW with her newly found riches. We write about Livvy a lot on here. She can't even go to class anymore because of her fame. She was just featured on this year's SI Swimsuit edition. She's the most followed college athlete in the country and it's not even close. They won't say how much she makes but it's "millions per year". She's a numbers machine. You see Livvy, you click. It's why I'm writing about a car purchase that probably only costs like $40,000 and to any other Joe it's just a car. Regular people shit she does is viral. The legend of Livvy grows by the day.
