Rumor Has It Tim Anderson And Yasmani Grandal Got Into A Physical Altercation Recently

For proper dramatic effect, play the video above while reading this blog

I'm going to make this quick; I typically wouldn't give a shit about Tim Anderson and Yasmani Grandal getting into a clubhouse kerfuffle. No, I'm not talking about Anderson and Ramirez from Saturday, I'm talking about Anderson and his teammate Yasmani Grandal apparently getting into it right before the All Star break:

And on the note of keeping it quick, two brief notes:

1. If Grandal wanted to leave early, TA was right on calling his ass out. Grandal is paid a lot of money to do what he does, he can gut out a few extra hours watching a baseball game from the bench. Nobody on that sorry ass team wanted to be there either, you're not special and you don't get to leave early. Quit your bitching and go watch film of the opposing pitcher with your teammates or some shit. Find a pitcher's tips. STAY BUSY. Figure it THE FUCK OUT!!!

2. I typically don't care about one-off clubhouse beefs, even if they get physical. In fact I think they can sometimes be healthy for teams. As Tito Francona said after the Ramirez spat, "boys will be boys". Sometimes a good ol' fist fight amongst men can bring out the best in people. This is so far beyond that, though. Everything is broken in this organization top to bottom.

Stop me if you've heard me say that recently.

Grandal denied the story though:

And here's more of his entire presser:

Who's telling the truth? Nobody knows but those inside those doors. Frankly, I don't care. If the organization is seriously about cutting the deadweight next year, Anderson won't be donning a Sox uniform next year unless he shapes up QUICKLY and Grandal would be DFA'd right fucking now.

Sad it's at that point, especially for Anderson, but here we are.

Nevertheless, Rick Hahn was tasked with being the White Sox press secretary yet again. Here's the video:

And here are some more quotes from him and Grifol:

I'll just flat out say it: nobody on earth trusts this front office or this manager to build any sort of A1 clubhouse culture. Based on how the last two years have gone, nobody trusts them to do anything correctly except to lose and lose a lot. It was put up or shut up time prior to the 2021 season and you guys did your typical half-assed, piece mailed bullshit. These are the results of said typical, half-assed, piece mailed bullshit and you shouldn't be surprised.

Winning cures all and you REFUSED to do that. You nickel and dimed your way to a .500 record in 2022 and whatever aborted fetus this season is. It's a direct result of poor ownership and a front office that won't challenge said owner on paying up for better players.

This is what you all get: having to answer questions from asshole beat writers like these guys, having to read articles from asshole bloggers like me, and having an ENTIRE fanbase wanting you all filing for unemployment not today, but yesterday.

Stop wondering why the shitty roster you built is shitty. You reap what you sow.

We will be going into this whole saga a LOT more on Thursday's episode of the Mid Show:

To wrap up yet another embarrassing day of being a White Sox fan, I'll end by saying this: sell the fucking team and let people who want to win baseball games take over.
