It's ASTOUNDING How Many Old People Are Actually In Congress

Tough week on the floor of Congress. Mitch McConnell's brain short-circuited

The next fucking day the same thing happened to Dianne Feinstein

I am not anti-old. Love the olds. They have their place in the world. That place is diners at 4pm and Florida. It isn't in Government. The only thing these people know who to do is piss everyone off, make a shit ton of money through insider trading, and get re-elected. The political machine is either too powerful or the rest of us are too stupid or some combination of that, but we need officially need guardrails against ourselves and against their brains. I mean just look at the ages of some of these people who have been running the country for like 40 fucking years.

Not to mention we have a President who everyone just agrees to pretend that he's making decisions. The first president you could assassinate with a punch

The United States Government has to be the oldest work force in America. In what other line of work or company would you find an average age of 64 years old? That is the AVERAGE age for the Senate. Average age for the House is 57.

There's a law on the books that says airline pilots are FORCED to retire at age 67 because cognitive decline is such a risk to lives on board. Pilots are a risk like 375 people at a time and they're made to retire by law, but the people who can send us to war aren't subject to cognitive decline laws. Seems like cognitive dissonance is needed when talking about laws on cognitive decline.

We've got a lot of shit going on these days. UFOs, Ukraine, user data, etc. How are these people supposed to make decisions with global implications when they can't even remember how to vote? There either has to be an aptitude test for everyone over the age of 75 and I would prefer that the test be broadcast live like some kind of game show. They would also have to drive themselves to the event because I think that would be the first round. If you can't pass a driving test you can't vote in the halls of government. Test #2 would be logging on to the internet and sending an email. Just open a computer and send one email. One email to anyone. Test #3 is being a better investor than anyone at Goldman Sachs.
