4-Star CB Aaron Scott Has Been Committed To Ohio State For A Day And Might Already Be The Most Hated Man In Michigan After His Commitment Stunt
I don't know that there's ever been a Michigan or Ohio State fan who has had any level of admiration for a player from the other school, but Aaron Scott still has another year of high school and has already found a way to draw the ire of Michigan fans.
Scott pulled an Ohio State jersey out of a Michigan backpack to announce his commitment to the Buckeyes, which served as a great reminder to always remember the rules of live commitments:
- It's never the first hat
- If it seems too obvious (like a backpack already showing the school), it is
- If the recruit is wearing a zip-up jacket, disregard everything else because it's the shirt under the jacket
- Do not celebrate until any article of clothing has been worn for at least 10 seconds
I can appreciate Scott wanting to go viral and piss off a rival fanbase during his commitment, but this stunt has to be shelved when OSU is coming off back-to-back ass whoopings at the hands of Michigan. I get that he only has one opportunity to do this, but this isn't really the own you think it is when the Wolverines have won the last two meetings by a combined 37 points and been to the last two College Football Playoffs.
But go off, I guess.
