The Mets Are One Of The Most Embarrassing Teams In MLB History

I feel bad for these little sewer rat Mets fans. They have had to deal with Yankees fans winning World Series after World Series and the Mets fans my age have never seen an actual World Series win so they have no idea how it feels to have a real team. You don't have to remind me of the World Series appearance against the Royals that you lost, what does that matter. Bragging about losing tot the Royals is as sad as it gets. I know right now the Yankees have nothing to cheer about but my god the Mets are even more embarrassing. 

All we heard was "Uncle Stevie is coming to save us!!!". "This corrupt billionaire is going to buy us a really good team so we can finally win something!!!". And his plan- getting two 40 year old washed up pitchers and not making the lineup better somehow failed. Who could have seen that coming? 

Listen I don't think the highest paid team should matter but if you are the team with the highest salaries you can't be fucking selling at the deadline to a team in your division. That is the saddest thing I have ever seen in my entire life. 

But I guess if you're a Mets fan you have to know your place- all bad things happen to your organization and it doesn't matter how rich your owner is. You are going to have to start all over when you trade Verlander and are just stuck with Scherzer who turns 55 next year. Once all of you guys know you are sewer rats you are much more likable. I had Frank The Tank saying the Yankees were the little brother in the beginning of the year and thats the guy who hates the Mets. 

I would respect them a little more if they bought at the deadline and said fuck it, we are 7 back in the standings lets at least try. But instead they got prospects that nobody wanted and gave a team in their own division their best reliever. The Mets are and always will be an inferior team in the MLB and I can comfortably say they won't win the division in the next 10 years.
