Ryan Day Refuses To Let His Guys Forget That They Lost To Michigan Two Seasons In A Row
That's a start, Coach. I personally would've rather you skipped Big 10 Media Days like the Northwestern players did and had a grad assistant show up and say you were too busy preparing for Michigan, but at least it appears you finally understand we're in a rivalry. For those of you that have been following my love / hate relationship with Coach, this is where we're currently at with the guy who is currently 33-2 in the Big 10 and arguably the worst coach in Ohio State history due to his 1-2 record in The Game.
Probably a little over dramatic but if we lose for the 3rd time in a row this year, then it goes from half joking to 100% serious.
And according to the Big 10 media, they think we're going to do just that.
Absurd.
Look I'm not oblivious to the fact that Michigan shoved the football down our throats each of the last two years. I saw it with my own two eyes that they bullied us. They emasculated us on national television in 2021, and when the narrative was that a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a decade, they came out and did the exact same thing in 2022. Michigan deserved to win the Big Ten last year; that is a fact.
One other fact is that if each of these Big Ten media members had to put a gun to their head and select a winner of the conference this year, the result would be 10000 votes for Ohio State, 0 for everyone else. Don't even get me started on the two jabronis that selected Penn State. They should lose their right to vote, not only in the Big Ten media polls but in the general elections as well. We cannot have people that inept and that willing to put their heart before their head allowed to have a say in this country. But as for the 27 others that put Michigan again of Ohio State this year, I think they should be forced to put their money where their mouth is. I think that's a huge problem with the sports media today. Everyone can make these off the wall, ridiculous predictions and there's zero accountability.
Ohio State is the favorite to win the Big Ten on the Barstool Sportsbook, and they are 3rd behind Georgia and Alabama to win the National Title as well. I did not have the time this morning to read down the list and see where Michigan was on both. Everyone with a brain knows that Ohio State is more talented, has a better recruiting class, brings back more, and hopefully for the first time in 3 years, is more hungry. And for that reason, I cannot wait for the numbers team to release a line for The Game up in Ann Arbor. Are they really going to give the Buckeyes points?? Christmas may come in November this year.
