The New Twitter Logo Is A Letter You Can Buy On Fonts.Com For $30

Well, that checks out. I actually found myself thinking this morning how terrible the new Twitter "X" logo is when the website updated on my computer and lo and behold, that's because it's from Fonts.com. I guess $30 doesn't get you what it used to.

I was told Elon Musk was buying Twitter to turn it into some bastion of free speech and instead all we've gotten are technical problems on a weekly basis and a dogshit re-brand. We just want Twitter, pal. Quit dicking around and being a weirdo and just make the website functional.

But instead of doing that, we're spending time and (very minimal) money changing one of the most recognizable brands in the world to a stock font. This used to be a great website, man. I guess all things must come to an end.

I'm sure we'll all be on X for a month or so before Elon announces the website is now called the symbol that Prince changed his name to.
