Congratulations To DJ Khaled On Winning The 5th Major In Golf--The We The Best Classic

Most of the best golfers in the world are currently battling at Royal Liverpool to be crowned the 151st Champion Golfer of the Year. Most of the best golfers, but certainly not all. Because while some golfers grow up their entire lives dreaming about one day holding the Claret Jug in their hands, many golfers have dedicated theirs to one day hoisting that massive trophy over their head for winning the We The Best Classic.

And in a stunning turn of events, despite all odds, DJ Khaled was able to go out there and capture a signature win in his own tournament. This legend, along with his team of Michael Block and Bubba Watson, came down the stretch with one of the most lights-out performances we've ever seen to card a 48. A FORTY-FUCKING-EIGHT. Rory McIlroy ain't carding no 48 this week at Hoylake. But people forget that if Blockie had Rory's distance, he'd be the best golfer on the planet. Turns out that when you get to play with DJ Khaled on your squad, distance is irrelevant because that demon is piping some piss missiles right down the middle on every tee shot.

Not only is Khaled one of the most dialed golfers in the game right now and a total assassin with the big stick in his hands, but he's also making a strong case to be GM of the year. It's only a matter of time before team golf becomes the norm, and just look at this team he built around himself. He's got Michael Block, who just top 15'd at this year's PGA. And then 2x Masters Champion Bubba Watson. Imagine showing up to a scramble with those guys instead of just your buddy Carl who just picked up a fresh bucket of Top-Flites for the round. If I'm the Cleeks or the 4 Aces, I'm giving Khaled a call to run my squad. Clearly he brings out the best in his guys.

So congrats to DJ Khaled on bringing home the We The Best Classic. Sure, winning your own golf tournament has a hint of "dictator of a third world nation" to it. And the visual of everyone spraying him with champagne while holding up 3 of the most ridiculously oversized trophies is objectively hilarious. But a win is a win, and that's all DJ Khaled seems to do.

Let's go golfing.
