'It's Always Sunny' Showed Once Again Why It's The Best Show On Television, Delivered A Perfect Season

THERE WILL BE SPOILERS AHEAD

Got that out of the way so now it's your fault. Anyways, Season 16 of It's Always Sunny wrapped up last night and I want to talk about it. It truly was a perfect season. I'm not saying it's the best it delivered, but it delivered a perfect season. Eight episodes highlighted by the ending of Dennis taking a mental health day.

I'm not someone who can break down the intricate details of movies or a TV show. I'm simply a human being who puts something on my screen and declares I liked it or not after watching it. That simple. I don't need all the crazy details or fighting about whether or not it's magical. Think it's dumb to try to be something you're not. Anyways, I love comedies. It's basically all I watch outside of sports. That's why I'm declaring It's Always Sunny in fact good.

Let's just focus on this season though. First, take a look at the art for it:

Shout out Bowling for Soup for making the cut. Then you had the guests - most notably Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston. But it was the fact they went back to the well and brought back Uncle Jack, Gail the Snail, Mrs. Mac, Charlie's mom, the Waitress, Artemis, the McPoyle's, Cricket, the side cast that really helps make the show. They also realized they could just have Frank acting like a lunatic and it always plays:

They hit the classic hot button issues this season too. The titles were:

1. The Gang Inflates

2. Frank Shoots Every Member of the Gang

3. The Gang Gets Cursed

4. Frank vs Russia

5. Celebrity Booze: The Ultimate Cash Grab

6. Risk E. Rat's Pizza and Amusement Center

7. The Gang Goes Bowling

8. Dennis Takes A Mental Health Day

All the topics that are shoved down our throats every single day they basically addressed. Yeah, they all have botox and everything, who cares? 16 seasons in and they still deliver. I don't understand how people started talking negative about the show. It's the perfect 30 minute comedy. It's not a sitcom, it's basically it's own category at this point.

As for last night this was the most realistic part of a television show in a long time:

Every single person has screamed HUMAN or REPRESENTATIVE at the phone. I don't care who you are, how rich you are, whatever. You've done it. Then you finally get to talk to the person and you try to reason only for your rage to still be on tilt. Yeah the end scene was outrageous, but that's the show. Hell of a season.
