You know how you know something is nuts? When nobody on Twitter, the most negative, the most cynical, the most will-argue-the-opposite-of-any-situation-ever place in the world, all agrees that it was nuts. Nobody has a clue. Even if your plan is to try and work a walk, you at least pretend that you're trying. It was the baseball equivalent of NBA defenses allowing Ben Simmons to shoot a 3, Bryce was gonna take a walk and as a result got rung up. I'm not one for narratives, but maybe ABs like that are why Bryce doesn't have a ring? All the talent in the world, and then goes up to the plate like a cocky asshole during a tie game when his team is 10 games out of first. Just a thought!
