"He A Soft Ass Bitch And I Stand On That" - Jordan Poole's Father Doesn't Seem Like The Biggest Fan Of Draymond Green

It has been 285 days since Draymond Green punched Jordan Poole in the face and a lot has transpired since that moment. Poole got a few more million added to his 4/128M extension, the Warriors regular season was a bit of a disaster by their standards before ultimately flaming out in the 2nd round. Draymond came out and admitted that the punch basically ruined their season, and before he decided to come back to the Warriors this summer, he sure as shit made sure the team traded Jordan Poole to the Wizards.

If you thought that move was finally going to be the end of the drama surrounding the punch heard around the world, unfortunately you'd be mistaken. Draymond touched on the incident while making his appearance on The Pat Bev Show, and well….let's have a look how it went

OK, that's not all that different from what we've heard from Draymond in the past about the punch. I will say it does seem like Draymond is suggesting Poole had it coming, but to be fair this is just a promo clip. But you know who didn't exactly appreciate it?

Jordan Poole's dad

While spicy, there's a bit of an issue with his response. Mr Poole suggests that Draymond didn't apologize to him and his wife, and maybe that's true in the sense that he never did it to their face, but he did technically do it when he gave his formal apology during his presser (1:06 mark)

maybe Mr. Poole is suggesting that Draymond is a soft ass bitch because he couldn't face him man to man and apologize in person, and maybe he has a point. It's also highly likely that Jordan Poole's dad is simply talking how he knows his son feels. Remember the last time Poole was asked about Draymond just 9 days ago?

yeah, the Poole family clearly isn't over what happened, even after all this time.

As you can expect, Draymond is going to have his side when it comes to this ordeal and Poole and his family will have theirs. It's not exactly a surprise that they may have different interpretations of how things went down. You just don't get the sense that this is going to be a beef that will ever be squashed. I figured the whole $128M thing would be enough for everyone to get past the incident, but apparently not. I guess it's nice to see that no matter the money, family will always ride for family.

What I do know is I can't wait to see the rest of this interview. If this is the first soundbite we get, my guess is there's going to be a whole lot more to come. Make sure you're subscribed and go ahead and give this episode a listen!
