If You Are Prepared To Lay Down And Block Traffic, Be Prepared To Dragged Away By Your Hair

NY Post- A woman in Germany was dubbed a “brutal blonde” by European media after she dragged a climate change activist from blocking traffic as the public’s patience wears thin with the frequent protests on roadways.

The video showed a woman screaming at a climate change protester to “get up” from blocking a road in Bottrop, Germany, according to a video posted by an activist group.

Then, the woman grabbed the activist by her hair and dragged her to the side of the road.

When the girl returned to block the road, the German woman dragged her by the hair a second time.

The activist was lightly injured in the altercation, police in Recklinghausen said.

A bit of confusion here as The Post is describing a woman dragging another woman by the hair, yet the video shows a dude dragging people off the road. There's another video of a different guy dragging people out of the way as well.

I think the point is made regardless here, these protestors and the people stuck in traffic had a real do-da-doo and rightfully so. I don't care what you are protesting, it should be a law that you cannot screw with people's commutes home. No one looks forward to their drive home from work. You are tired, you are angry, you are unhappy, and you are battling traffic...and now someone thinks it's okay to make your long trip even longer? Not cool...and should be illegal. Well it probably is already illegal, but it should be more illegal. I have no problem with people protesting, but I have even less problem with motorists being pissed and reacting to their day being fucked up. The way I look at it, a little hair drag is on the light end of punishments in my eyes. These people are getting off easy. The protestors are the ones who started it, don't be mad when someone lashes back out.

I also think it's such weird logic by the protestors. I get they need to do something rash to make a point and get attention for their cause, but do they really think screwing over another person's day will all of a sudden get people sold on it? I doubt it. Do they really think that when a driver gets out of his 99 Camry and asks why Ooe hasn't moved in 45 minutes and discovers a group of people laying down on the freeway, he will all of a sudden ask "how can I help your cause?" or "What is the crux of the issue you are complaining about and how can I get involved?" Hell no. They are going to tell you to get the fuck out of the way, and if and when they do get home they are going to make a mental note of your foundation or cause and vow to never ever donate a dime to it for ruining their commute home. It's bizarre that these protestors didn't see that part coming. It's better to not fuck with people's day to try and get them on your side, but hey that's just me.
