The Federal Reserve Has Officially Credited Taylor Swift With Saving The Economy
Taylor Swift's Eras Tour is boosting the U.S. economy.
Ticket sales for Swift's concerts have been so explosive, one Federal Reserve office said, the pop superstar is helping fuel the national tourism industry.
The central bank on Wednesday released its Beige Book, in which Philadelphia Federal Reserve officials reported hotel bookings rose, showing the strongest growth since the beginning of the pandemic, thanks to Swift's show dates.
"Despite the slowing recovery in tourism in the region overall, one contact highlighted that May was the strongest month for hotel revenue in Philadelphia since the onset of the pandemic, in large part due to an influx of guests for the Taylor Swift concerts in the city," the officials wrote.
I don't want to hear a SINGLE PERSON complain about Our Queen Taylor moving forward. We've been making jokes nonstop about how her concert is going to save the economy, how she's going to change the landscape of concerts, she's going to take down that monopoly Ticketmaster, and now we have it confirmed. The Federal Reserve says Taylor is, no bullshit, helping the economy.
I, of course, am not surprised! Every town she sets foot in changes their name after her, dedicates a piece of their "culture" to her...even the Prime Minister of Canada is so thirsty for that Taylor Swift cash flow he's begging her to pop a few shows on the schedule in the country. She's only one woman!
On a serious note and I'm not even sure I'm allowed to mention this but...I heard a rumor that That Apple AR headset is launching officially to the public alongside the Eras Tour. Like, you'll be able to watch it and feel like you are there if you have the headset. I hope to fucking GOD it's a true rumor, but from then on forward, I don't think I would ever leave my house. I'd stay at the concert for the rest of my life.
