It's Bullshit That A Guy Like Steph Curry Can Be This Good At Both Basketball And Golf

Am I jealous because Steph is living out my dream as an all-time basketball player while being a damn good golfer? Sure. But I'm sitting here prepping for my member/member weekend, which is slightly below the Scottish Open and the American Century Celebrity Golf Tournament, but it's still a tournament. I can't help but see the Steph highlights. I can't help but think it's bullshit that he can be this good at two sports.

I don't need to break down his basketball game. We know all about it. We know he's the best shooter to ever live. We know he's going down as an all-time great, where people will debate him in the top-10 players ever. Not bad for an underdog son of an NBA player. But I draw the line at him being a good golfer too. You can't have both!

I will say, I do know he's a true golfer because of this story:

If you golf, even the smallest amount, you know what I'm talking about here. You have that one shot that you talk about all the time. It could be a hole out, it could be a near hole in one. Number 11 at Legendary Run on the east side of Cincinnati for me. It could be the drive that you piped 265 but you tell people it was at least 300. Anyone who has golfed even just one round has the shot that replay in their head, tell everyone about and if you're lucky enough to have it on film watch it over and over again.

It's even more bullshit that Steph is competing for long drive competitions. I don't care if it's a celebrity tournament. It's still a bomb. You can only hit threes or hit long drives. You can't be elite at both! It's bullshit for someone to be this athletic and this good. The rest of us are out here scrambling for bogeys to save rounds, you can't be flaunting it in our face.
