Absolutely Sick, Crazy AA vs KK vs AQ Hand At The Main Event

The Main Event is now on Day 5, with the original record setting field of 10,043 players now dwindled down to about 300 at the time of this blog. First place is $12.1 million, so you better believe when you get pocket kings, you are excited. When you get pocket aces? Over the moon. And when AQ shoves all in before you? You cum with the force of 1,000 geysers. 

But poker ain't that easy. Take it from me, who is now 0/6 in the Main Event, cards don't always fall how you want 'em to.

So what happened?

BOOM. A king right there on the flop, giving Bill Klein top set.

MY HEAVENS TO BETSY!

AQo gets it all in vs AA and KK and goes runner runner to scoop. Aces was sent to the showers and Klein won the sidepot with kings, while AQ needs water and oxygen to the stage because his stack just got HUGE.

Just another day at the Main. Yesterday we saw a man fold Aces preflop on the stone bubble…gross.

Just a wild, wild, wild tournament with a $5.6 million heads up match for first!

I didn't do a full recap of my time at the WSOP because there was nothing to write about. Went 0/5 in tournaments, a big disappointment. Overall I liked how I played, and in the Main I battled and fought and dodged and weaved, to get it all in as a 90% favorite only to be rivered straight to hell, just max pain.

That's just how tournaments go, sometimes you're the dog, sometimes you're the hydrant.
